(Reuters) - Mike Huckabee has been approached by conservative activists unhappy with the current crop of Republican and presidential hopefuls, sources told Reuters, but the former Arkansas governor said he is not seriously considering a run.

That's the same thing Chris Christie has been saying, but nobody believes him either.

I think everyone should throw their hat into the ring. Everyone who has ever remotely thought of running or has run in the past.

That's a great idea!

At this rate there will be 200 republican candidates about 2 of which have any actual reason to run, theres way to many activists and oddball committees advising some of these people

Huckabee would be the best Republican candidate, though. Not a psycho, conservative, intelligent, good standing with the base.

Lord only knows how our nomination process will shake out, but the fact remains he is the best candidate.

Best using which criteria?Conservative, intelligent, not a psycho, good standing with the Republican base. It is my contention that none of the current nominees meet all these criteria. Throw in executive experience, too.
