Two things.. First, I never even heard of most of the liberal ones, but I know all about the conservatives, proving that conservatives are more newsworthy than liberals. Second, the folks at the National Journal need to figure out a way to break ties.

You don't tie for 10th when you start with the 8th place.

I see what you mean. I accidentally left out a Senator who also tied for first as most liberal. That makes 12 Democrat senators in the top 10.
