If Boehner is forced to resign, who should replace him?


I was recently contacted by a reporter from the National Enquirer, and now I have confirmation that their story will hit the newsstands on Thursday.

Wonder how well Boehner’s zero-tolerance pledge regarding corruption will hold up when it comes out that several hundred paper-making jobs were lost in his district and he refused to do anything about it at the same time he was sleeping with a lobbyist for the printing industry that was very happy to get their cheap paper from China.

As a replacement, they need to go with a woman who is in the Tea Party, meaning Michelle Bachmann.

Boehner keeps running away from reporters who ask about this, and his alleged mistress -- one of two -- just says no comment. He needs to deny it right now. Unless it's true, in which case he needs to resign and let someone more wholesome lead the Republican majority in the House.

Although Boehner has avoided answering questions about it, his spokesperson (http://cincinnati.com/blogs/politics/2011/02/03/national-enquirer-boehner-had-affairs/) denied the National Enquirer story, saying there was "no factual basis for these allegations."
