O’Reilly: I’ll tell you why [religion's] not a scam. In my opinion, all right? Tide goes in, tide goes out. Never a miscommunication. You can’t explain that. You can explain why the tide goes in...
Silverman: Tide goes in, tide goes out...?
O’Reilly: Yeah, see, the water — the tide comes in and it goes out, Mr. Silverman. It always goes in...
Silverman: Maybe it’s Thor up on Mount Olympus who’s making the tides go in and out...
O’Reilly: No no, but you can’t explain that... you can’t explain it...

Both of those guys are morons, just O'Reilly much much more.

Thor = Asgard. Greek gods = Mount Olympus. Dave Silverman = Fail.

Yes. I was sad that Dave Silverman wasn't smart enough to capitalize on O'Reilly's very public display of retard.

Take your pick.
Actually I saw it on youtube after a friend favorited it. Just googled to find a quick transcript so I didn't have to type it. Never heard of the site until you brought it up.
Not quite sure what opinion is on that page, but hey... w/e. I'll just get all my news from Fox News from now on. They've never been caught in any lies or or bias anything (http://www.youtube.com/user/LiberalViewer#grid/user/A3BD2524FE99BD4D).

O'Reilly didn't miss 4th grade earth science. It's just that his teachers were the Insane Clown Posse.

Actually, as an atheist, I agree with Mr. Silverman. Religion is a scam and a myth.
ZOMG WHAT NOW!? IT CAN'T B TRU!

Just to point out a debate error: Whether or not you're an atheist doesn't have any bearing on if you did or didn't give a rep about the apparent source on a post.
Either way I care not, just pointing out a flaw (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Straw_man). And I thought both the rep and the accusation were 'jokes' anyway.

This was my point, PB. Whether or not you agree with what was said, you are usually the first person to call someone an idiot for posting a link, comment, whatever, from a source you deem unworthy, while usually ignoring the link, comment, or whatever was actually said.

A good rule of thumb when posting would be to not use questionable sources such as thedailykos.

I try to better other people's arguments... helping them be better with constructive criticism. As you can see, Deathravin realized his mistake and corrected it.

Technically the source was a link of 'thedailykos' of a transcript of a youtube video directly of the show. There was no opinion on it at all. Just the transcript and some comments.
Mainly because the video speaks quite loudly for itself. There's no need to state any opinion.

Bill O'Reilly proves the existence of God, and Neil deGrasse Tyson explains how tides change. (http://www.colbertnation.com/the-colbert-report-videos/370183/january-06-2011/bill-o-reilly-proves-god-s-existence---neil-degrasse-tyson)
"There must be a god, because I don't know how things work."
Full disclosure about this media source: Neil deGrasse Tyson is one of my favorite people on the planet.
