In a blog entitled "In her defense, I'm sure the moose had it coming,” published on The Huffington Post Monday, the 49-year-old screenwriter called the ex-Alaska governor's killing and quartering of a caribou on her show this week "heart-stoppingly disgusting."
"Like 95% of the people I know, I don't have a visceral (look it up) problem eating meat or wearing a belt," he wrote. "But like absolutely everybody I know, I don't relish the idea of torturing animals."
He took issue with the fact that the “phony pioneer girl” has so far volunteered to kill halibut, salmon and caribou with relish.
"...if I were picked to be the one to kill [an animal] in some kind of Lottery-from-Hell, I wouldn't do a little dance of joy while I was slicing the animal apart," he wrote.
Sorkin characterized the show as a "snuff film," accusing Palin of torturing animals for her own pleasure.

Who is Aaron Sorkin and why does anybody care what he thinks? Killing animals for sport is an American tradition.
