I just do not see how his actions were so different from anyone who came before him. I do not see how his meager 3m a day could have represented 60% of the income from skinning.If you had asked me to guess, my guess would have agreed with your assessment. We don't have to guess, though. We have been presented with facts from a reliable source, and those facts say that his actions were so different, by quantity if not by quality.

This appears to be a small shrine of some sort. Against the east wall is an altar with tarnished religious symbols on it. The covering is tattered and the three pews here are dry and rotted. For the first time you notice that the thick dust on the floor is punctuated by shallow footprints, leading you to think that this place is not as abandoned as you first imagined. You also see a raging tempest and a brown mouse who is sitting.
Also in the room: a calm Dgry, a calm Vazridth who is kneeling, Lord Methais, a calm Hazye, a calm Stefinn, a calm Nido, a calm Shilaya, a calm Demonea, Armaxis, Lord Jenovadeath, Plinn, Lord Virilneus
Obvious exits: west.

It's funny how you can successfully participate in dozens of story lines, but it's only your blunders that are remembered. I tried to find my copy of this log, but I only have logs back to 00 at this point. I mistimed the minor sanct, then told the people that mattered to bail - (Armaxis, memory is foggy but I believe Setzier + Dispater where invisible in this log). I *almost* survived, was saving my spirit for a good sign of healing, but the last stun lasted too long.

Well, I had an excuse. I was a cleric back then. All clerics could do in pvp is cast bind against a 600 point TD and then hide behind minor sanct when it was warded. I think in 98 we were still using repel - so no attack spells in the cleric list. I just skipped ahead in the usual strategy. :)

I'm not sure why you don't remember. I didn't actually get to witness Luukos getting pissed because I was in town being raised, but I remember seeing the names scroll. I seem to remember someone telling me that a bunch of shadows appeared and nuked the area. That trigger any memories?

If I remember this one right, it was the climax of an all day event that was player started by Setzier, Armaxis , myself, and some others about stealing a 'baby' (just a blanket from some chick, they were using curse) and we and those who got involved were pretty much killing each other all day.

It ended up in Darkstone, later, where I tried a commune, and hit something 'bad', and Andraste and the late and wonderful Aelsidhe got involved and we ended up with all the bad stuff, invaders, and a huge steaming pile of death.

While I can agree with you that much of what you mentioned takes place on the officials, the boards are far from useless. Short of writing a GM or feedback directly, they are the only way to effectively communicate with Staff. They are also the best source for official information.

That's kind of sad when you think about it. The officials are their most effective way of communicating but 90% of the population doesn't read them and 95% of the population doesn't post on them.

The officials are just not user friendly enough. If they were more like this forum, with the search feature and a way to go back through old posts, I daresay they'd get a lot more usage.

You're 100% correct, and I've mentioned this before. But they won't front the cash to have the new forum tied to billing.

I don't think it would be expensive though. A vB license would be dirt cheap for Simu, and they could hire some Jelsoft coders to tie it to their billing system.

Simu is losing customers. Quality and cheaper prices would bring customers back. Quality requires player input. A forum people will actually use makes it all worth it.
