Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele plans to meet Tuesday with about 50 tea party leaders.

This is not what Sarah Palin had in mind when she recommended the Republican Party should merge with the Tea Party. Steele is not a good salesman to meet with this group. Among other reasons, he constantly puts his foot in his mouth. I just don't think he will be well received by the Tea Party. He will stand out like a sore thumb. That's all.
