Speaking to a group of reporters off the record, Obama answered a question about when Kanye West interrupted an acceptance speech at the Video Music Awards. In his off-the-record answer, Obama called Kanye West a "jackass (http://www.latimes.com/news/nationworld/nation/la-et-abctwitter16-2009sep16,0,3179288.story)."

That is totally unacceptable! Obama should publicly apologize to Mr. West. Elected officials should exhibit a certain level of decorum, and Obama has fallen short of the standard.

Nothing wrong with calling it exactly the way it is.

To hell with being Politically Correct.

+1 for Obama.

What Malok said. I'm tired of politicians and public figures having to watch every single word they say for fear that there will be an uproar.

Don't worry guys. It was Obama's racist white half speaking.

Already posted:

BUT, Obama thinks he's a jackass. (http://www.politico.com/blogs/michaelcalderone/0909/ABCs_Moran_tweeted_OTR_Obama_swipe_at_Kanye.html?s howall)

Obama doesn't care about black people.

I'd +rep Obama for having the balls to point out the guy was a jackass to pull something like that for the sake of publicity.

Obama's a jackass for stealing Kanye's thunder. And who was that silly white girl on the stage with him, anyway?
