Hi,

In Gemstone III, monsters of your level were worth 100 exp and every level above (or below) increased (or decreased) that amount by 10. They nerfed uphunting to cap at 150 EXP per kill, so the greatest benefit, experience wise, was to hunt critters 5 levels above you.

1. Is this still the case today?

2. How much experience can a mind hold? I know LOG and INT add to your max amount held and exp absorption rate, but do now know how much. I have forgotten, and I am sure the formula has changed in any event.

3. Specifically, my 35 half-elven wizard has stats of 100 (25 bonus) to LOG and INT

Tsoran's trainer has an Experience tab with all sorts of information.

I'm not sure whether the info is 100% correct though. Someone else might know.

the exp tab on tsoran's spreadsheet can get you close. The absorption rates are no longer accurate but I don't think that's all that hard to calculate.

I remember Acon doing a lot of testing on absorption rates so even that stuff should be accurate.

The only thing I'd correct on that Krakii page is that fried (or "must rest") is 95% now. Everything else looks good.

I believe it always was. I remember it being so back in the late 90s atleast.
