Well the first 100 days of the Obama Administration have ended. It's time to assess the atrocities that have been done to our republic by a Democrat administration.
SCHIP. It's the beginning of socialized medicine in the United States, and it's a big wealth transfer. There is no reason why I should be forced by the government to pay for the health care of poor people's children. As a compassionate conservative person, I may choose to do that, but I should not be forced to by the government.
Lilly Ledbetter Act. As candidate McCain said repeatedly last fall, this is just a sop to trial lawyers. People should be compensated based on their agreement with their employers, not based on their gender.
Stem Cell Research. By overturning one of President Bush's best executive orders, Obama has now said that it's okay to kill children if we can use their parts.
Serve America Act. As Rep. Michelle Bachmann eloquently said (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michele_Bachmann#AmeriCorps), this law, which was drafted by Ted Kennedy and Orin Hatch, is really "re-education camps for young people, where young people have to go and get trained in a philosophy that the government puts forward and then they have to go to work in some of these politically correct forums. It's very concerning, it appears that there's a philosophical agenda behind all of this."
I do have to wonder how many atrocities I've forgotten to mention. But these four give you a taste for what we're in for.
100 days down.. 1,360 to go.
