I can't speak for Kaedra, but if I was running from one town to another to rescue a corpse, I probably wouldn't stop to be like, "Top o' the eve to you, m'lord. I say, 'tis wonderful weather we are having tonight, wouldn't you agree?"

That's what I was trying to say. Useful? Yes. Fun or interesting interaction? Not so much.

Which is fine if you aren't looking for interaction and just want up and on your way with a minimum of fuss.

Listen, I really have nothing against Kaedra at all. But I met the person that turned into my best friend in game for years because I died and he stumbled on my body. He was low level and new to the game, like me at the time, and he dragged me to town only to fall dead at the gate because he didn't realize he was bleeding. It's those kind of human interactions that make the game worth playing in my opinion. I'd rather have a messy, human rescuer than an automaton. That kind of interaction shouldn't be peripheral to the game, it should be central.

I'm really doing a poor job of explaining my opinion and it sounds like I'm criticizing Kaedra when I don't mean to. She is a first rate rescuer as far as efficiency goes.
