And legalized same sex marriage does exist in: Belgium, Canada, the Netherlands, Norway, South Africa, Spain, Connecticut, and Massachusetts.

Webster's expanded definition just reflects the realities that exist in the US and globally. But by all means, boycott Websters and let us know how that works out for you.

Yano, I am pretty conservative and I think we should allow, hell, endorse same sex marriage. I think that those that perfer the same sex should have to go through the same nightmare to end the relationship that us hetero people do. I mean really, as it stands, you dissolve a contract, split up the towels and no court involved, really. Now, make it legal and all hell breaks loose. OH, and you get the "now you are married and have to file taxes as married filing jointly" screw you marriage deduction. And you get to pay divorce lawyers just like the rest of us. I feel there is a difference between a traditional Christian and a conservative Christian. There's a new can of worms for the forums.
