"Recovery.gov will be changing a lot in the weeks and months ahead. And we're counting on your participation."
It's just nice to be kept in the loop.

If you consider this "in the loop" then I guess have at it. Consider yourself fully informed on how your money is being spent.

Eh. It's under construction. Ideally they'll kick it up.

It's a step in the right direction and I never implied it will keep anyone FULLY informed. Maybe we should just go ahead and assume it will fail before we even give it a chance.

It says it'll be updated with dollar figures once the stimulus money begins to be distributed. Of course, I can't imagine anybody logically expecting there to be dole figures for things that haven't been doled yet, but what the hell, this is America!
I liked the comments and suggestions section myself, though I'm sure it'll be cherry picked when the time comes for lauding any successes of the stimulus. Still, I admire Obama's technological maneuvering with this one, in the same way that I thought his rumors and candidate platform sites were slick during the campaign.

Seems like a good idea, if they do as they say and put more information on the site in a easy to search, understandable manner. If they just throw all the info up without a easy way to find it well....

You'll start seeing state allocations popping up there next week or the week after, I think. I know EPA has theirs done for water infrastructure, I was looking at it today on the EPA's website.
That doesn't mean much yet, since a lot of the money will be allocated to states on a project by project basis. But there is a nice timeline on the recovery.gov website of when things are to be reported in to OMB and the oversight board.

Curious as to what exactly 'Protecting the Vulnerable' encompasses - the rest seem fairly straightforward, as it goes.

Yeah considering that its the third largest part of the bill. I'm a bit curious myself.
