At church this morning I learned that we may be about to boycott Pepsi (http://www.afa.net/boycottpepsico/pepsicommercial.html), which I don't drink anyway. It seems that Pepsi is promoting the homosexual lifestyle with an extremely offensive advertisement (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5u9kVkoN_Kk) on the teevee. Warning - Some people may find the commercial obscene.

The Bush administration's FCC cracked down on obscenity on the teevee. I hope Obama doesn't drop the ball.

I have to say. I get a lot of shit from a lot of people here but I am impressed with the amount of human tolerance shown by the majority.

ClydeR, if you are real, ask yourself why you are so interested in homosexuals.

What do you think it says about you if everyone is more tolerant of homosexuality than they are of you?

Just saying.

I am currently processing the irony of this because it is very complex and will get back to you with a clever response after I’ve fully contemplated the depth of the discussion.

Just remember Clyde...

We're coming for you. Maybe not today. Maybe not tomorrow. But one day when you least expect it...

BUTTSEX. Followed by hours of musicals.

If Ted Haggard couldn't overcome it, you're history.

Enjoy what little hetero time you have remaining.

Ok, Drew.

I have not been subjected to the amount of hate homosexuals have been so I don’t even fathom that I could fully comprehend what it really means to be hated, and in worst case physically attacked, by people you don’t know just because you are who you are.

But I do understand what it means to be assailed by unmitigated hatred from a few anonymous sources. And I think they are miserable people who need to get better lives for themselves.

I wouldn't count on that.

I’m not surprised you think that.

Anonymous sources?

Mostly. And even then I have never met a soul who would say what has been said to me here in a face to face. So you all remain anonymous.

Adding to that:

I seriously doubt, no - I know that you would not spout off half the bullshit you spout here on the PC if you had to do it in person.

If this were the case of the chicken (you) and the egg (PC animosity towards you), I would say the chicken came first.

Pepsi did it again (http://www.afa.net/alert_pepsiad_20090223.html)! Even after the American Family Association warned them there would be consequences, they did another advertisement promoting the homosexual lifestyle. This time they got Carson Kressley to appear in the new ad. He's one of the people from the Queer Eye for the Stright Guy teevee show.

If you really want to watch the ad, it's at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cPLCsqUfuEk

I warn you, though, that it's highly risque.
