This guy and his theory has been around for awhile but I finally decided to post it since the politics folder is dead.
I would most certainly move back up to the NE. Prolly on a border state where I could put my expertise in use killing mexicants and old people out of the south.
Lol @ some of the comments.

I would so join the Texas Republic. Think of all the cheap landscapers available!

LOL at his idea that any part of the U.S. would ever be under Canadian or Mexican influence.

Yeah, I'd totally move east to be part of the EU before I would join the hatters.
LOL I read about this in the WSJ yesterday. Nutty.
Every time I go to New Jersey Im like "Am I in Paris" I just cannot tell because all these douch bags with absurd tans and gold chains are so European.

It looks like an arbitrary division to roughly cut the country in fourths.
Idaho and Utah belong with Montana and Wyoming.
The Dakotas, Nebraska, and Kansas.
Texas and Oklahoma.
Missouri, Kentucky, Tennessee, South Carolina and West Virginia all need to join the south. Or maybe just make a "Northern Southern United States" and include North Carolina, Virginia, and Maryland.
Florida should secede.
Minnesota, Iowa, Illinois, and Wisconsin.
Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado.
California, Oregon (eastern could go with Idaho), Washington (ditto).
We'll give Maine to Canada.
Tada!
It's somewhat plausible, as are most theories that include premonitions about the political shift of a highly recognized nation, but unlikely, as we are a super power who would rather wage Civil War II than be split up into this particular format with influences from (some) {most} [all] of the countries mentioned.
Some people can finally say they visited another country, if nothing else! The Central North American Republic would not be going "up" or down without a fight because, well, Canada... really?

Texas being governed by Mexico would make a good comedy movie.

Freakin canadians are all afraid of the dark too.

Fuck that. Texas should buy/take over Mexico. Think of all the beachfront property and cheap resort labor!

LOL, that episode of HIMYM was hillarious.
