I changed the password but the email was still his. I asked him to change the email and he said he would later that he needed to figure out the password for it. So I just really never thought about it.
But really if you aren't the name on the account there is nothing you can do. If he ever wants his account back all he does is call them up prove he's the owner and voila it's all his.

What does wow gold sell for in cash? I am seeing all kinds of various prices for sites online, and then they change based on server etc, much more expensive for US servers too..
I am tired of training with nothing... I can just barely squeak by for my spell and training cost'. And making so many trips back and forth while hunting to unload is tiresome.
Also, how do you get the haste enhancements put on boots?

Dont buy gold.
It's against the rules of the game and you can get your account banned.
It's risky and you run the risk of losing your account to nasty little hackers.
It's unneccesary. You pick up enough gold as you level. Just sell the quest rewards you dont use, use the ones you can and you will be cushty.
You dont really need much gold until you start getting mounts and you should have enough to do so as you get there (with the exception of the epic fliers.
Take your time and enjoy the game. End-game is dull, enjoy the journey there.

Move to Dunemaul and you'll most likely be supplied with at least 14-slot bags and 50g.
Or you can come to Eredar Horde (PvP) and I'll hook you up with that stuff.

Started out with a handful of old GS players back at release (Xeniphite, Xinister, and some others whose GS names I don't know), but now it's mostly just 487230470 random people.

We just completed our first week of actual raiding (Naxx 10 man) and are now working on getting another 10 man group together this week. We've done the easy "Onyxia" type bosses (1 boss, very little trash) a couple of times.. and many of us joined a raid that did them on Heroic.

Man, you guys are cheap... people that come to Alliance on Argent Dawn get 16 slot bags and 100g! Granted, they're also Alliance and on a LOLRP server. I have to say that playing on a non-PvP server has really dulled my awareness when I'm questing, and has severely spoiled me. I love a little world PvP now and then but mostly just prefer it when I'm looking for it.

Just take up skinning and mining and focus on leveling your guy blindly till you get to at least 40. You dont find anything of value till then so its like trying to hawk giant rat pelts in gemstone. It just aint gonna happen till your in an area that at least has decent mats available.
If you really insist on worrying about money early I would find a mob that has a lot of cloth and grind it but even then its a waste of time until your at least getting mage weave.

Yeah, have been playing on both. But I decided I didn't want to do the same professions on both servers, so I deleted all the guys I made for the most part. Cept the 13 warlock you sent the gold to.
I haven't really been getting much done in mining... Are those deposits just really rare? Or do you have to goto special mines to find more? I was in several different lvl 15ish mines and still only found like 2-3 deposits, most copper, one tin. I find more copper ore on creatures than I get from mining.

I never really had much trouble finding deposits to mine, but caves are usually the best spots to go.
They have addons out there too that will either mark your map when you mine a new deposit so you'll know where it spawns, or some have the maps already marked out, so you just load it up and run to the spots on the map and hope nobody mined it already. Gatherer is a good addon for this, but I don't remember if it has everything pre-marked or if it marks it as you go, or both.
And if all else fails, go to www.thottbot.com and type in COPPER ORE or whatever type of ore you're looking for. Scroll down the page about halfway til you see the section labeled "From MINING". Then look for where it says COPPER VEIN and look to the right, and you'll see a list of zones it can be found in. Click on the zone you're in (assuming it spawns in that zone, which if you're keeping your mining skill up, the stuff you need will be in the zone you're leveling in) and it'll pull up a map with areas marked off where copper veins spawn.
It's not nearly as complicated as that probably sounded.
Go here first:
http://thottbot.com/i2770
That's the page you get after searching for COPPER ORE. Scroll down a bit and you'll see the "From Mining" section. First link under that is COPPER VEIN. To the right of that you'll see the zones it can be found in. So let's assume you're in The Barrens. Click the "The Barrens" link to the right, and you'll be brought to the map, which is here:
http://thottbot.com/o1731/z17
I think I just repeated everything twice, but oh well.
Overall though you'll be better off using an addon that has it marked already, so you don't have to keep tabbing in and out and comparing your position on the map, etc.
Either way though, thottbot will have info on pretty much anything you're doing. If you find yourself stuck on a quest, look it up on thottbot. if you wanna see what kind of loot an instance boss drops, or what mobs drop X piece of loot, look it up on thottbot.
Addons are your friend. Thottbot is your friend. www.curse.com is your friend because that's where you get addons from.
Other friends are www.wowhead.com and www.wowwiki.com

I switch it up depending on my mood. I'll do quests that require alot of travel or I'll do quest where you just have to grind through alot of enemies. If I get bored of doing quests then I will do some mining or something. If you want to grind enemies without a quest then do it, at least your still getting loot but you'll level up faster doing quests I think.

You know what? It's true, but oh well. I thought I'd hate it when I moved there to play with friends, but you get used to not having to worry about ganking when you're leveling. Then there's those moments when someone from the other faction swoops in to mine/herb/whatever and you can't do shit about it. Then, you weep a little on the inside and give them the care bear stare.

That's how you learn your way around the world though. It can be a pain in the whatsit, but it all makes sense at some point. If you want to increase your XP, do like Methais says and kill everything you see along the way. Gives you extra XP.
As for mining, if you just have track mining up while you are levelling, you wont need to go out of your way for anything. Your mining will stay up probably a little higher than you are able to get to, so you will never need to bother about where the nodes are unless you are farming a spcific ore (i.e. for tradeskills etc.)
Dont worry too much about add ons at the moment. Partly because if the game is updated, the add ons all go down the shitter and you have to wait for them to be updated. THe major ones are usually fine but I was always paralysed after a major patch because I couldnt operate without add ones.
Now I use about two or three and life is rosy.

It's funny but a while back there was a bit of a renaissance on Argent Dawn with a few PCers playing on there. Chica and Tayre spring to mind. There were others.
I got a druid to somewhere in the 20's and came across a tauren warrior killing the NPCs around silverwind and couldnt do anything about it. I tried to duel him but he refused and ran away. That's the last time I'll play RP or PVE servers.

Unless something has changed, attacking NPCs still flags you for PvP, and you can be engaged by anyone that chooses to do so. Maybe they didn't do that earlier in the life of PvE servers. The RP aspect of AD is a joke - I'm sure there are some guilds that deal with it but as a whole it's just a PvE server.

12 pugs? that fucking sucks. Were you using a standard raidcomp? (4 tanks, 14 DPS, 7 healers). If you're having DPS issues, as long as the tanks are decent and communicate, you can do the entire instance with 2 actual tanks (prot war, prot pally, feral druid, frost DK) and 2 off tanks (DPS war, cat druid, unholy DK), to squeeze a little extra deeps.

Dear Dar,
They've made an achievement this year just for you.
You have to get 50 HK's while dressed as a GNOME.
Some scrubs were trying to kill Thrall yesterday so I ran there as a gnome but they were all dead when I got there. I still got to give a few the gnomestorm heh.

I did that one yesterday. It was a bitch trying to do in Arathi/Eye of the Strand, especially as a balance Druid since shapeshifting breaks the gnome form (and you can't be transformed while shapeshifted), but I got them all in one go of AV pretty easily.
