I think for the Republicans, it's clearly John McCain's nomination to lose.

For the Democrats though.. might be a little tougher. I think Hillary will try, but will have trouble being a Liberal female. I think Barack Obama has a chance but will be hurt by the ignorance of many because he is black.

Definitely McCain. Though I don't give it to him hands down. It depends on how badly Bush screws things up even further. I read more than one commentary from die hard Republicans how they wanted Bush to lose this one because he might give the Democrats a landslide in 2008 while they were predicting 4 years of Kerry would ensure the same for them.

Honestly, the GOP holds all the cards for 08 so long as McCain can get past the primaries. Unless he participates in something incredibly heinous, he'll have my vote, otherwise it's back to the Libertarian ticket for me.
