I saw this in an ad today, I've read about Obama's pastor, but I didn't know there was video. How anyone can vote for a guy who supported someone like this Pastor I don't understand.

For every Rev. Wright, there's a Jerry Falwell John Hagee, or Pat Robertson equally bad. Religious pastors and leaders have no business in American politics. Period.

Maybe listen to the entire thing, not just the sound bytes ... because Obama obviously wants to bankrupt the mining industry as well.

Because everything about Obama is always taken out of context...

Of course because all the presidents elected in the past had a flawless set of acquaintances and friends.

This of course means you hate the US and are a terrorist.

I think there's a difference between a friend or acquaintance and the pastor of the Church you attended 20 years, the guy who married you and your wife and baptised your kids.

I'm sure this has all been hashed out before, like I said, I just saw the video for the first time.

Yeah I know. I guess it's not an issue anymore?

The clip, or the entire thing? The two are not one in the same.

Also, there is a huge difference in attending a church where you may disagree with the words coming off of the pulpit yet have ties within the church ... and directly seeking out people you once referred to as "agents of intolerance".

But as suggested, the entire sermon puts the clips into a better perspective. Also ... the association game and what has been implied, to me, is probably the most un-American bullshit ever to hit the political scene since ... ever.

Yes and like I've said since this surfaced months ago, it's his pastor. His pastor is not running for president and what he says during his sermons in his own church to his own congregation has NOTHING to do with Obama and how he plans to run the country as he never stated such things himself.

I have more issues with Obama sweeping Wright under the rug instead of just standing by his own views and beliefs than Wright himself.

Agreed.

...I didn't know there was video....

That explains how there can still be undecided voters.
