Well, when you think about it, so is July 4. And kinda Thanksgiving.

And of course there's the whole Christians-versus-Pagans Easter thing.

Christmas also covers the Yule pagan tradition, but then most Christian holidays cover some sort of corresponding pagan holiday.

In fact the root tradition of the Christmas tree is pagan in nature-- food and gifts to the Sun were placed on a huge tree and then the tree was lit on fire on the longest night of the year, as an offering to entice the sun to start rising sooner.
