For me, I donated my economic stimulus check to Obama. When W. told me to spend it in order to jumpstart the economy, I couldn't think of a more usefull thing to spend it on.

I donate to the USO. It's probably a drop in the bucket, but I feel better about donating to the USO than people who have quite a bit more money in areas where it (edited: A lack of $$$) is less life-threatening to them.

It is pretty annoying being on the call list. But since none of the calls are ever from my area code they're easy to filter.
