Ok, not exactly, but you'll get the picture.

I would imagine a good number of voters either way don't know a whole lot about the policies of the person they're voting for.

That said, it's likely a lot more pronounced among black Obama supporters.

I'm on my phone so can't see the video. How does this compare with the people not convinced Obama isn't a Muslim?

Interviewer: "If he wins would you have any problem with him (Obama) having Sarah Palin as Vice President?"

Answerer: "No, absolutely not."

Hilarious, and scary. Ignorance is bliss, for the ignorant.

Thank you for posting.

I'd say people with the capabilities to actively know things about their candidates and still possess no idea about shit would be a better symbol of ignorance.

Less scary, more entertaining.

That would be funny if in some County they would just have a list of policies written out on one side, and another list on the other, and you'd have to vote accordingly...

Then again, most candidates never follow through with anything they promise anyway.

To the person who said this

" Typical Obama Voter 10-20-2008 12:04 AM Kind of like Republicans voting to keep a black man out of office? "

Yeah I agree, there are people out there that vote like that. I wish it wasn't that way either. I really hate it that people vote on someone's race/religion.

Mit Romney would have been in if he wasn't Mormon, there are some radical southerns who voted for Hukabee because of this. I am actually mad at Huckabee for stealing it from Romney.

How about when race is an added qualification for success?

I like this quote:
"Secretary Powell says his endorsement is not about race, OK, fine. I am now researching his past endorsements to see if I can find all the inexperienced, very liberal, white candidates he has endorsed. I'll let you know what I come up with. I was also unaware of his dislike for John Roberts, Clarence Thomas, Samuel Alito, Anthony Kennedy and Antonin Scalia. I guess he also regrets Reagan and Bush making HIM a 4-star and Secretary of State AND appointing his son to head the FCC. Yes, let's hear it for transformational figures."

And this one:
"If Obama was a white man, he would not be in this position. And if he was a woman of any color, he would not be in this position. He happens to be very lucky to be who he is. And the country is caught up in the concept"

Guess the people and party that said them for 100, Alex!

Limbaugh and Ferraro.
I am sorry, but your answer was not in the form of a question.

Correct.

And what did Ferraro say after she was attacked?

"Every time that campaign is upset about something, they call it racist. I will not be discriminated against because I'm white. If they think they're going to shut up Geraldine Ferraro with that kind of stuff, they don't know me."

I think she's wrong; but that's who said it.

I think Obama is lucky he's as smart, articulate, handsome, calm, and thoughtful as he is. He is very lucky he is those things, though.

I saw a poll, I forget where, that said that 50% of people thought that Republicans controlled congress.

I lay this fault on the GOP. They needed to be running ads and having talking points that said "Obama Pelosi Democratic Congress" as often as the Democrats said "McCain Bush"

The democrats know their supporters are largely simple and that rote repetition was the way to go. The GOP failed on this.

Ha ha. When you have a non veto proof majority see how well your party has done at setting agendas...
