View Full Version : Obama is using the economic crisis to distract voters from his Ayers association

“Instead of acknowledging the real differences that exist in this election, Barack Obama is using America’s economic crisis to deflect legitimate criticisms of himself and his record. Now, more than ever, Americans should be scrutinizing Barack Obama’s role in shielding Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac from increased regulation. Voters deserve a real debate about Barack Obama’s proposals for one trillion dollars in new government spending and tax increases on small businesses – when Americans can afford neither. At a time when hardworking families face uncertainty and a historic decision in November, they expect more than Barack Obama’s self-interested calls to stifle any inquiry into his record or his past.” —Tucker Bounds, spokesman McCain-Palin 2008

This is a serious question: who in the hell is in charge in the McCain campaign?

They should all be fired. This campaign is comical at this point. Obama is going to top 350 electoral votes. At least.

I actually feel bad for McCain. At the town hall meeting in Minnesota when people were like "OMG HE R ARAB" he looked utterly exasperated.

He can't "condone" that rhetoric.

I wonder what Gan thinks about this. His VP is giving stump speeches putting forward the same ideas McCain is "suppressing."

Keeping Tucker Bounds on staff is all the proof you need that McCain is a fucking imbecile.

Obama is talking about the economy because that's what people want to hear. Not them going back, and forth on whose affiliated with who.
