According to Nikki Finke, a SNL skit from this Saturday on the $700B bailout was pulled off of the NBC website and is in the process of being "reedited."

I thought the skit was pretty funny myself, particularly when the captions flashed below each person.

I thought it was a decent Frank impersonation, and I loved Pelosi's eyes the couple times the actress got them right.

Originally, Nikki Finke's web page. She reports on events occuring in the entertainment industry.

Since I originally read it there, however, I have seen references to it in a few other places.

1. The NBC website took the original video down
2. Michelle Malkin apparently threw something up on her blog about it (note: she is claiming a conspiracy; I doubt she is right on that one)
3. On the way home, I also heard a reference to NBC's actions on a radio program.

I just poked around the internet, and also found two articles mentioning it. One accuses the SNL writers of anti-semitism for writing the skit as well, and the other has an outraged reaction from Herb Sandler (one of the two in the skit with the caption "people who should be shot").

Now that was pretty damn funny actually. But anti-semitism as well, it pretty much highlights the double-handshake of corrupt parties who sold us down the river.
