Well it looks like the bailout was approved, I still think there are too many fluffs that made the bill rediculous to pass.

Like... raising the tax on Puerto Rican Rum to the U.S. from 10.50 to 13.50... All the proceeds will go to making tourism in Puerto Rico better.

I might be going to Puerto Rico soon, so if anyone wants to put in some orders...

They're just extending a provision that was already in place that had expired.

Current law imposes a $13.50 per proof gallon excise tax on distilled spirits produced in or imported into the United States -- of which $13.25 per proof gallon was made as a payment to Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands until the end of 2007, after which it was lowered to $10.50 per proof gallon. This retroactively extends that provision from Dec. 31, 2007, through the end of 2009.

I've been to the Bacardi factory just outside of San Juan. The gift shop is great.

The real political fallout of all this is that McCain just got a 10% downshift in the polls and probably the election because everyone will blame this on Bush and the Republicans. McCain got robbed or got real unlucky that this didn't explode after November.

Definetly is. Last time I went I brought as much back as I could, haven't been in about two years though. Though there are a lot of beautiful people in Puerto Rico, did you notice how fat a lot of them are?
