Nice job giving some of the more paranoid people some more fuel, Mr. Teleprompter.
I'm mainly just posting this to laugh at his mistake, not that I think it means he is a Muslim. I'll still pose the question: Anyone here think there is more to it than a slip of the tongue?

I eagerly await the indignant response by pb, mabus and crb denouncing this petty attempt at influencing the masses.

It sounds more like he (Obama) just phrased his thoughts awkwardly, which isn't a big deal.
That article made it sound like the interviewer, George Snuffaluffagus, was hostile, or a McCain supporter. Wasn't that guy the press secretary for Clinton or something?

Here's the full vid if anyone cares: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=VtI6ixXjf1g

Just some 411, Hulk. The Washington Times is notorious for misdirection. Ok, in these times of all the “liberal media” hype that may be hard to define. Lets just say it is Washington DC’s “other” point of view.

Denounce what? Denounce McCain not talking at all about Obama's religion, or Denounce Obama admitting Mccain has not talked about his religion? What am I denouncing?
hahaaha lol, that was a smooth one on his part.

He does know how to play the victim role pretty well. I liked how he claimed that he denounced the attacks on Palin from the beginning.. well, AFTER HIS CAMPAIGN first attacked her.

His quote makes sense in context, he just forgot a "supposed": "John McCain never tried to talk about my 'supposed' Muslim faith." You see he moves to correct Stephanopolous's misinterpretation of what he was trying to say in the next sentence.
And George seems to still be a Clinton fan, I guess, lol.

His campaign said something they shouldn't have and Obama admitted that....
This is no different than Rick Davis (McCain's campaign manager) stating:
"This election is not about issues," said Davis. "This election is about a composite view of what people take away from these candidates."
Folks have been having a ball with that one.
McCain and Obama can't be everywhere all the time...
Even when McCain was standing right behind Palin, she showed that she has no clear concept of what Freddy Mac and Fannie Mae actually are....
