Is it me or has Hillary been too quiet this past month? Is it possible that she is still in the running as VP choice? Had Obama promised her some cabinet position etc, I would have expected her to be out campaigning for him, bringing her hard-core supporters into his fold right away... unless they were planning to announce her as his running mate and then it wouldn't matter because all her girls would come with the deal. It just seems... strange that Hillary has disappeared out of public attention entirely- because she had such a strong following that I think would need more than just a few public statements from Hillary to really be convinced to rally behind Obama (and if Hillary was offered something, you'd think she'd WANT Obama to succeed).

Both camps are now saying that she isn't going to be VP... much like I said before she quit her campaign.

I agree that she's very under the radar right now.

I have yet to hear any of the pundit interviews from the Hill suggest this though.

Her selection as a running mate would definately override my big picture consideration for voting this November. I will not vote for Hillary, under any circumstances.

Maybe Backlash can bring you insight into this question.

LOL

I wish I could find that quote where he said he talked about his 'connections' with political insiders on the hill.

I think there are better choices for VP, but I don't know why Hillary (of all people) would get so quiet all of the sudden- unless she was promised something big.

never gonna happen. It would bring Bill along for the ride and force them to make all his business dealings post presidency public. Too much baggage for OBama to deal with.

I did just get a campaign EMail from her yesterday to donate more to her campaign to have dinner with her. I assume it's to pay off her debt. I personally LOLed.

Would you buy a $500 dinner to help pay off Rudy's debt considering he's not going to be the nominee right now?

touche

Maybe a $50 a plate dinner. But thats more reflective of my disposable income at its current level than desire to help the candidate I backed at one point.
