ho hum. Just because a news organization does not automatically dismiss Republicans or Republican policies does not make them biased. Just because they don't take the words of Democratic politics as gospel truth, does not make them biased.

Fox has a lot of partisans on the channel, but they're all labeled. Bill O'Reilly says he is conservative, Alan Colmes and Sean Hannity are obviously labeled liberal and conservative, that is rather the point of their show. When you have Lester Holt doing the weekend news he doesn't start out saying he is extremely liberal. Chris Matthews doesn't publicize his history with the Democratic party.

The other thing Fox does is act a little Jerry Springer. People often point out Bill O'Reilly having to cut the mic or something of a guest as him being biased. (ignoring how he'll defend democrats if he thinks they're been unfairly treated, and attack republicans he doesn't agree with). Anyways, what they don't get is that that is just TV, if the host interrupts or otherwise indicates to you to stop talking, you are to stop talking. Now... the reason O'Reilly has this problem is he brings on guests who hate him, who are way way the opposite side of the fence, so that there are two perspectives on the show. So sometimes the guests don't behave. He could of course just bring on people that agree with his positions, like other news channels, and avoid this problem, but that is not the type of show he runs.

Fox purposefully brings on people from different sides, they always label them "this is a democrat, this is a republican" or "conservative and liberal" etc etc, and they let them fight and argue. It makes the news more entertaining, and you always get the argument from both sides, and you always know the politics of the people giving you their opinions.
