View Full Version : Divine Curse on the White House

The more America moves from biblically morality, the more it comes under the divine curse. The Bible states the blessings God will bring upon the obedient. It also states the curses God will bring upon the disobedient.

For instance, I believe there presently is a divine curse on the White House. Why? Because President George W. Bush placed the Koran in that house's library. The occasion was a much-celebrated Ramadan dinner where both Muslim males and females were guests.

With much fanfare Mr. Bush announced his placing the Koran in the White House library.

Taking biblical data into consideration, one can conclude that God was very angry at that move. I believe He has brought a curse the White House because of placing the Koran alongside the Bible in the White House library. God cannot tolerate those who place other gods alongside Him.

It was this same Mr. Bush who stated to a Muslim that all roads lead to God. Mr. Bush should know better than that, claiming to be a daily Bible reader.

America is in big trouble at the moment and I think only the truly sincere believers understand that. They are interceding for our nation. But the ungodly are pressing more and more for countenanced evil to be blessed throughout our country.

At first, I read the above widely circulated article with the same sense of amusement that most other people have shown. But then I decided I would just check to see for sure that it was false.

Lo and behold (http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/releases/2005/10/20051017-5.html), it is true! For the first time in America's history, an American President placed a Koran in the library in the White House. It happened in October 2005 at just about the time things started to go bad for Bush. Bush really may have caused a curse on himself and the whole country.

The question that must be asked is what the presidential candidates will do about it if they are elected. Will they remove the Koran or leave it where it is?

Epic facepalm is both epic and facepalm.

Somehow I doubt God would be pissed at putting a Qu'ran in the library. I think he'd be more pissed at, you know, how Bush is completely and utterly steering America towards oblivion through sheer stupidity and selfishness, killing/ruining millions in the process? You know, because that's loving like Jesus. Srsly.

In other news, gays cause hurricanes.

The real question is did he remember to recite those three words when he opened it?

That's interesting. Why isn't God cursing Kuwait? Dubai?

An excellent question, Clove. As usual, your keen intelligence sets you apart from the other participants in this forum.

The answer is twofold. First, Kuwait and Dubai are both small countries on the Persian Gulf. Things aren't exactly a cakewalk there, even with their relative wealth. Those two countries have more problems than you might assume. Second--and the Bible is very very clear on this point--more is expected from those who are given education and knowledge of the scriptures. That's us, because the United States is definitely predominately a Christian nation, and George Bush reads the Bible daily. While many residents of Kuwait and the UAE are aware of Christianity, they have not been educated in it in the same way that we have been here in the United States.

Hebrews chapter 10
26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,

27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.

28 He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:

29 Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?

30 For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people.

31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

Besides, you have to admit that it would be an awfully big coincidence if things just happened to start to go bad for Bush at the same time he put the Koran in the White House library.

I can't even think of where to start. Let's try this, from Wikipedia:

Approximately 10% of the population has university or postgraduate degrees. Many expatriates tend to send their children back to their home country or to Western countries for university education and even to India for technology studies. However, a sizable number of foreign accredited universities have been set up in the city over the last ten years. Some of these universities include Michigan State University Dubai (MSU Dubai), the Birla Institute of Technology & Science, Pilani - Dubai(BITS Pilani), Heriot-Watt University Dubai, American University in Dubai (AUD), the American College of Dubai, Mahatma Gandhi University (Off-Campus Centre), SP Jain Center Of Management, University of Wollongong in Dubai, Institute of Management Technology and MAHE Manipal. In 2004, the Dubai School of Government in collaboration with Harvard University's John F. Kennedy School of Government and Harvard Medical School Dubai Center (HMSDC) were established in Dubai.

So Michigan State and Harvard are going to hell for teaching the infidels?

What about every single public library that has a Koran?

I'm increasingly convinced that arguing with the ignorant gives them too much credit and we should just point out their stupidity (or the stupidity of whoever told them these things).
