Been trying to find the Jesse Jackson comment that several news organizations mentioned this morning, but clearly my coffee hasn't kicked in.

From what I gather he said, "See..., Barack been um, talking down to black people, on this faith based, I wanna cut his nuts off."

Is that accurate?

I can see this doing nothing but helping BO. There are a lot of citizens that do not care for Jackson. It can give BO a chance to seem "less black" to the moderate white voters that he has been courting lately, and to seem like a new generation leader to his base. He can play both sides as he has already shown himself capable of doing.

Jackson doesn't like Obama.. that's no secret. Obama has never been seen as someone who was "down for the struggle" or "black enough". It was a dumb thing to say... but nothing that is going to hurt or help Obama.

Jackson made the comment. I posted, asking for thoughts on how this would affect the candidate. I even stated I felt it could be helpful to him to stand up to Jackson. How the hell is that tearing him down?
