How is the tax return question passed over so???

She ate a dick on that one, and everyone just lets it go. One of the main things that have drawn me to the Obama campaign is its transparency. The bullshit she spewed tonight....I can't understand how anyone could back someone that is so disingenuous.

She lost. There were serious moderation issues... but she lost.

He didn't need it.

Well I sat down to watch it and found out two weeks too late that my cable provider dropped msnbc ... which shows how much I watch it.

I caught the tail end of it on the webcast .... now I'm playing catch up with the crappy clips.

You know when you 'accidentally' put it in some girls butt, then she screams and has a seizure and stuff, then you have to squirm and try and mumble out some sort of half-assed, but faux sincere apology?

Yea, that's what she sounded like.

She answered no question directly, choosing to equivocate on every single fucking question, as usual. She interrupted constantly and failed to obey the parameters on occasion, to which point one of the moderators needed to get firm with her and tell her to stfu. She seemed rather childish, flustered, squirmy, and impatient.

However, Obama kept up his aroristocratic aire. Seens he might not quite have the same oomph in his debating skills as he does his speaking skills. n this case, I think taking the moral high ground with her is a good plan. He's been rope-a-doping her the whole time. He pulled her chair out for her when she stood up, even. In a situation like that, he should have (I would have) baited her a bit more (being me, I would have said something filthy to her during the commercial break, but I'm an asshole). She was obviously struggling and flustered- easily tippable. As a President, though, what showed as weakness in the debate would actually be a great asset. In diplomatic talks, he'll attempt to make the other person more comfortable, while maintaining a civilized discussion.

Too bad he's a socialist.

I saw about an hour of it. She's such a poor sport. About a half hour into it, she complains about always having to be the first person to answer a question and that they should just hand Obama a pillow. You could faintly hear some people in the audience say "whooooooa...".

If you feel like the debates have been unfair, deal with that AFTER the debates at a separate time and place. Complaining during the debate just makes you look like a whining bitch.

In my opinion, I believe this country truly is in need of a leader that we can listen to and be inspired by. If I can't listen to Hillary for 20 minutes without wanting to throw something at the TV, it's not going to inspire me to want to follow anything she has to propose, even if it meant raining Skittles from the sky on an hourly basis.

Hillary hates to go first if there's an opponent to follow in response to a question posed. Thats because her stances on the issues shift according how her opponent answers. It was clearly evident in her last debate and it seems that someone who was responsible for producing the debate has singled on that as well since they are throwing her the questions first.

Any other time, when she's not competing with anyone, she would be happy to have the center stage.

I like Cliinton less and less as this process continues. Her camp does more unnecessary complaining about media bias than anyone at Feux News.

The only unfair question last night was the Louis Farakhan question, and that was unfair to Obama.

The true comedy of the matter is her own attitude cost her any chances in the debate. She whined herself into not only defeat, but in humiliating fashion. She came off as a horrendously whiny bitch the entire night after the initial SNL comments, and nothing she could say changed it. I think in the end though, the most important question was as to whether or not they would undo anything they had done before (made a mistake). She couldn?t admit one. She almost did, but then she realized, she?s perfect, never makes mistakes, and is god incarnate, and even though she almost did, she made the right decision. He on the other hand, was very candid to put forward something relatively well known into the fray, even if in the big picture, it was not a significant national issue.

Given the strong negative reactions to her across the nation last night, I think we can officially start the preparation

I think in the end though, the most important question was as to whether or not they would undo anything they had done before (made a mistake). She couldn’t admit one. I agree on the comedy of it. I don't understand who's managing her campaign (maybe her), but they've had plenty of opportunities to try to give her a new face, and they seem to keep restoring the old one. Back when she originally complained that she was being targetted unfairly because she's female, there was a huge outcry of people going, "No, you're being targetted because you're running for President of the United States and because you keep throwing your boobs in our faces." She continued to keep posturing that she'd be better at the job because she's female, has been a mommy, and has served in the senate. To this, my dad would ask me, "What's the definition of Insanity, Melissa?" -Doing the same thing repeatedly and expecting different results.

The second part I snipped I did because it's generally agreed that on policy matters, in politics, admitting wrongdoing is death. It makes someone look unsure of themselves and too reflective. Bush hasn't admitted some of his major policy decisions were wrong either. Clinton is just sticking with the quoa card here IMO, which is dumb because dems have given her the message that they're tired of the quoa card (see above paragraph and ask 'what's the definition of insanity'). This is probably in case she does win the nomination IMO not to leave herself open for attack, but she's putting the cart before the horse (and has been since her campaign started again 'WTDI?').

Hillary's problem is she veered from her principles.

Obama is a creature of the far left. He talks about bipartisanship but by record he is as left as they come.

http://www.philly.com/inquirer/opinion/20080228_The_Elephant_in_the_Room__Obama__A_harsh_ ideologue_hidden_by_a_feel-good_image.html

Hillary is a more moderate democrat, but she has been pandering like hell to the vocal minority extreme left during the primary and that means there is no policy contrast between her and obama.

Instead of towing the line and doing things like bashing Nafta, she should have contrasted with Obama and taken credit for nafta, and then hit him over the head with the facts of how nafta has helped amercians (http://www.realclearpolitics.com/articles/2008/02/the_democratic_trade_myths.html).

Maybe if she bothered to stick with her more moderate policy positions and had contrasted herself with Obama (instead of playing the "who is more left game") she may have taken the independents who have thus far been fooled by Obama's rhetoric and she could have won.
