Who says your choice for president has to be in your party?
Good point. A flaw in the poll I suppose.

Vote for him anyway. If anyone could manage to be elected without technically running as a nominee it's Barack Motherfuckin' Obama. (And strictly speaking it's very very very very unlikely that the Republicans pick Obama so I'm addressing the situation of the Democrats being unbelievable retards and not nominating him).

Considering that McCain is running, it is very very possible that Republicans vote for Obama instead.

By "pick" I meant the RNC nominating Obama as their candidate. :)

Thats really what I was getting at. For my part, as an Obama supporter, I’m ok with a Hillary nomination as I prefer her stance on issues over McCains and especially Huckabee’s.
I am curious what supporters of other candidates feel like they would do if their favored candidate in their party does not win the nomination. I’ve been hearing things like CT posted and wonder.

I feel none of them is worth spit really (give us Richardson!!!). I may cross and vote for McCain, but it depends on where he stands on a few things, which I'm sure they'll get to in the debates. I definitely will never vote for Huckabee (despite what I've told the Obama supporters who run up to me while I'm trying to get from study to study).
I'm not comfortable with Clinton because she isn't honest or forthcoming, but at the same time I'm not comfortable with Obama for his lack of experience (which is a very annoying paradox). I'm not sure who I'm voting for in the primary, but I will, of course, vote.

This might be the first year I ever vote for a republican, and I shudder thinking about it... my view of the current democratic prospectives can be summed up by a quote the great Michael Bolton once said:
"Heads up their asses, heads up their asses."

You're getting older my friend, whatever your justifications you know you feel drawn to it. If you only knew the power of the dark side!

I hope to vote for Obama.. If it were Hillary and Huckabee and he were running I'd vote Bloomberg.

Mayor Bloomberg can't fathom why building the West Side Stadium on the West Side Highway was a bad idea. That's Bush IQ politics, right thur'.
Worse of all, is he pronounced Joe Torres "Joe Toe-Rezz" on one of the first few sports + politics CNN interviews where Bloomberg and the ex-manager for the Yankees were called into severe camera flashing questioning by some douche reporter.
When that sort of heresy occurs, it need to be remembered in my brain with muchly amounts of vividness. For I shall harp upon it seven years later.

Since Romney of the good-hair dropped out, I don't like any of the potential candidates.
Seriously, I didn't like any of the potential candidates this election year.
