“A day after a debate of mostly warm feelings and happy talk, the fight to win Nevada’s Democratic caucus turned intense again Wednesday, with the campaign of New York Sen. Hillary Clinton acting as the aggressor on many fronts. A Clinton policy aide hosted a call to attack her chief opponent, Illinois Sen. Barack Obama, on health care and Clinton backers pushed a story claiming that the Culinary Union intimidated its members to get them to support Obama, whom the union endorsed last week. The alleged victim of the one incident cited, however, later told the Sun the perceived pressure may have been a misunderstanding.”

“On the other side, the Culinary continued to mobilize on Obama’s behalf and has questioned whether a Clinton-affiliated rival union is abiding by campaign finance law. The 60,000-member Culinary Union attacked Clinton in fliers on immigration, the Iraq war and labor issues.”

Just asking…Is Bill Clinton now the Bobby Knight of politics? “A riled-up Bill Clinton got in the face of a tenacious San Francisco TV reporter who pressed him about lawsuits by Hillary Clinton's Nevada supporters seeking to ban Las Vegas casinos from serving as caucus sites on Saturday -- a perceived boon to union-backed rival Barack Obama,” the New York Daily News writes. ‘You have asked the question in an accusatory way,’ Clinton fumed, according to the San Francisco Chronicle. ‘If you want to take that position, get on the television and take it. Don't be accusatory with me. I had nothing to do with this lawsuit,’ he added, just inches from the reporter's face.”

Bill Clinton really needs to slip away into silence while Hillary is on this campaign. He doesn't help her.

....

On second thought, maybe he needs to get riled up some more. :D

I personally think Bill Clinton is the only reason Hillary even has a chance.

I agree.

And she wonders why people don't like her. (And I love how they insist this has nothing to do with the campaign. B.S.)

He's a double edged sword for sure.

She only has a chance because of her Husband and her name, but at the same time he tends to go looney when speaking on her behalf and firmly plants his foot into his mouth on occasion.

Clinton is an eloquent speaker, but I think he's slipping with age ... or forgets how to do it when it comes to his wife. He draws people in that yearn for years of Clinton in the White House, and then drives away the non-vag vote and the independent ... and recently a portion of the black vote.

Bill has become slightly obsessed with the right wing hate machine set opposed to him, so he seems to see it everywhere.

What's odd is I actually like Bill Clinton more now than when he was president. Not because he's not president anymore, but I think my opinions of him have mellowed some.

I still think he's a shit for purjuring himself and should have just said he spouged on her dress and taken his beating, but hey, I think people should be responsible.

Yeah, I often wondered how I would have answered that question? I think I woulda taken the arrogant approach: "Bitch, please! I'm the President of the United States, I have sex whenever I want with whoever I want!"

In a Cartman-esque voice.

eh. All things considered I don't think it woulda been worth it.

That woulda been akin to throwing a bucket of blood into a pool of sharks.

It would have made his job infintesimally more difficult and derived no benefit, other than "taking responsibility". So, I guess you have competing views of what his responsibility is; Own up to his private life, or run the country.

I'd probably choose the latter myself.
