Though it was unlikely he'd get even New Mexico, he had more class in his campaign than most of his opponents on either side of the fence.

In an abstract sense, I liked him as the type of person who would be great to run this country: very intelligent, multi-lingual, and attuned to other cultures. However, I think his problem was that he just isn't inspiring as a public speaker, which meant he wasn't a viable candidate. Obama fucking pwns him as a motivator which is important in convincing people to vote for you.

I guess what I'm saying, is that he's probably the type of person we need to be our leader, but our political landscape is so focused on sound bytes and single issue voters that he didn't have a chance.
