Allright, here's the results from the previous poll:

Allright, I'm closing this poll and taking the top 5 to 'part deux'.

Here's the top 5 in no particular order.
Iraq War / National Security / Foreign Policy - 29 votes
Taxes / Tax Reform / Government Reform / Ethics - 34 votes
Fiscal Responsibility / National Debt - 29 votes
Property Rights / Eminent Domain - 26 votes
Energy / Energy Independance - 26 votes

This poll again will be a MULTI-selection poll so choose accordingly.

Goal: To refine the choices on the top 5 issues according to the PC posters.

Lets run this one for 24 hours as well.

From this group we'll take the top 5 and split them into devisive categories (pro vs. con).

HAHA, patience grasshopper. I cant make the poll until after I make the initial post.

Now you can participate my overcaffenated friend.

*And I believe the innuendo is part of YOUR job description, not mine.

Iraq war: stay the course.
National Security: needs better management and budget oversight - but still necessary.
Taxes: dont raise taxes, curtail stupid (earmark) spending practices.
Gov't reform & Ethics: sorely needed.
Fiscal responsibility: sorely needed. Need to run more like a business and cut waste.
Deficit: reduce the deficit by eliminating (or making public) all earmarks as well as re-institute the spending triggers that lapsed in 2003. Note: Looks like it already has started - http://www.cbpp.org/5-16-07bud2.htm
Energy independance: sorely needed revision of current energy infrastructures as well as more stimulus needed for alternative source implementation.

Hey man, don't blame your inadequacies of not being able to poll and post at the same time on me. :P

Perhaps on the internet... in RL is another matter entirely. ;)

My issues in this one.

Iraq War--Well, we need to find a way to them to rely on their own securty, and get our people out of there. We need it stable, but we also need to get out as soon as possible without making it worse.

Deficit reduction--A big part of this would be getting out of Iraq and the gaping hole it is causing in our budget.

Energy Independence--We need to find alternative sources of energy so we don't have to rely on countries like Iraq, Saudia Arabia and (gasp) Venezuela.

Good call. Seems I fucked up and put in property rights instead of healthcare. :(

Disregard this thread due to the OP's inability to cut/paste poll results from one thread to the next.
