16 quick questions.
Post your results!
Political ideas are often expressed using the right-left model*. While simple, this model does not fully capture the fullness of political opinions.
For instance, you may be feeling on the left or certain social issues but on the right on economical ones so where are you?
The Moral Matrix addresses this problem. Instead of a single left-right dimension, our Matrix has two dimensions that combine to create four quadrants, or Political Systems.
By taking the test you will know where you stand on the Matrix, which Political System fits you best, and which Political Ideology you most closely match.

This is probably one of the stupidest measures of anything that's ever been made as a sort of internet result machine, if you will.
I would say: You are obviously presenting things in a very slanted perspective. Aren't you?
Well, that's too bad you think that since we work hard at being objective. But objectivity in politics is impossible. Everything we say is tainted by our own moral beliefs. Let us know where we think we are messing up and we will try to fix it.
And I'd probably say, "no fucking shit." If they want to fix it, they're probably going to have to not have this test to begin with. Oh well.

Wow yeah... this test was awful... The questions were either far too complicated to answer as simply as the choices presented, they had a few choices that meant essentially the same thing.
I also really like how they admit that political views aren't 1 dimensional, but then go on to try to measure them 2 dimensionally (I got all optimistic when it said it wasn't 1 dimensional that it'd be n-dimensional but... nope).
Way off but...

It's rather inaccurate to call the third quadrant "liberalism". It's not either US (social freedom) or European-type (economic) liberalism, but more of a blend of the two, the libertarian ideal. So why not call a duck a duck, in this case?
On a matrix such as this, the typical right/left line of American politics is an axis that follows y=(-x). Quadrant II being the Democratic party, and quadrant IV being the Republican party. For some reason, the authors skewed the typical, pushing the democrats into the area that has the highest response rate, that being Q3.
Looks like the goal of this test is to say "HEY UR A DEMOCRATZ!!! VOTE FOR DEMZZZZ!!!"
The easiest way to tell this is to look at these two:
http://www.moral-politics.com/xPolitics.aspx?menu=Home&action=Distribution&choice=United%20States
