I applied for modding a year or more ago. Kranar felt there was enough moderation as is. Can't say I argue that point really.

I also don't miss HN's moderation style. As a person she seemed ok.

I like to think I'm one of the kinder, gentler people on this forum, but all my infractions were from HN. I don't miss it either.

Just based on the 5478239054729052749052 people that have been long gone from GS that said they would return if they released a "Fallen" version should be incentive enough for Simu wouldn't you think? And since it's a free for all, it's not like they'll have to use staff resources for anything other than fixing game crashes.

Plus nobody cares about DR.

Yea.. not sure why they wouldn't create that. It would be relatively inexpensive.

I guess they are worried about people leaving their current GS4 for it.. making GS4 seem like Alliance of Heroes.

After HN quit posting and supposedly had no access to the internet whilst taking care of a sick whatever she still managed to lurk on the boards and read them.

Her last activity was in June of 07. Months after her bowing out.

Not that I give a shit either way. That's a lie. I like it much better now.

Well, as far as I'm concerned, no one "drove me out" as much as I am concentrating on school and don't have time to moderate here anymore.

I'm selling off stuff from my accounts in GS and leaving there too, as soon as that's done.

Nothing sinister and nothing anyone did or said that caused it aside from me choosing to leave moderating.

Close. I actually said that he had been a part of a group of people who had bragged about how they had chased people off the boards and that he didn't control them as he thought he did.

I posted a quote from Kranar from over a year ago that validated that that sort of behavior goes on on these boards.

Yes but Kranar's quote was in reference to the anti-mod threads that occurred in order to get rid of them for whatever reason. I doubt any political party has been able to silence the voice of any other party. People around here are way too vocal to be shushed.

I still don't believe that any group on these boards have been able to effectively "chase" prople from here as much as some may think. Hell there are some that stay no matter what goes on! :(

It's obviously a matter of opinion. Once again you are free to disagree, but to clarify his quote outlines other behavior beyond just the threads\polls which are still a lollerfest, IMO.
