The PC may not be the be all and end all of the Gemstone universe but neither is it not known and he surely has heard of these allegations. One would think if they were false it would be relatively simple to at least say that much.

Friends of his have taken the time to say some words in his defense it just is confusing as to why such a similarly minimal investment of time and energy has not been made by he himself to set the record straight.

However, Tsin has a different mindset and approach to the game than Zimzum has, based on my observations in game and on psinet.

Both cases deal with the issue of being an attention whore, just in different circumstances and in different ways.

Tsin's worst nightmare is when nobody talks about him, finds his methods controversial, or even pays him any attention. Thats the 'kryptonite' to his selling process, and to his reason for playing Gemstone.

Its the exact opposite for Zimzum I'm betting. And conversely, exactly what he's probably trying to accomplish by not addressing this issue here on the PC, where it originated to begin with (with his posting and subsequent attraction of a buyer here on the PC).

3. Elrodin is a very good friend.

In no particular order. I also find it interesting on a sociological level in how tenuous the bonds are within an internet community, especially as it relates between a forum/bbs and a MMORPG environment. Watching the events unfold and how the environments and the actors within react to whats going on is very interesting in a nerdy sort of way.

PS. My involvement also helps keep this thread alive until some resolution is seen between the parties that are directly involved. As with anything nowdays, if its out of sight, its out of mind.

After day 2 I was blocked from AIM and got no response when I sent an AIM from another account. Thats when I brought the issue here on Ganalon's suggestion. As for not being able to use your paypal account...

If you have your paypal connected to your bank account to become verified, you can not use that bank for another account. You would need to get a new account at a new bank.

And if you use paypal often, that's a hassle. They can also block the routing number of the bank to problem customers/users.

I wish you luck with getting a refund, but I fear what Brian already stated is true. That 90 cents might be all you'll see.

I did run across this:

Still searching for the elusive orgin of "Box" I have found one suggested explination:

I have clicked through one too many websites that all tend to send be back to the same claim from the philadelphia weekly from my original series of searches. So, I figure that there has to be some accountability. Below is a copy of the e-mail that I just sent to the author of that article:

I cant blame Jamus. Yeah I'd love to see Zim removed as a mod but whatever, there arent many people he can trust I guess. Zim probably padded the story he told Jamus like he has everyone else to try and turn the tables a little. Jamus was quick to react to the situation though. That particular fact comes from the Oxford Dictionary of Slang by John Ayto, published by Oxford University Press. An invaluable resource, indeed. The word was used in the 17th century, went away for a couple hundred years, and then made a comeback at the start of the 20th century.
