McCain says U.S. lives 'wasted' in Iraq (http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070301/ap_on_el_pr/mccain2008_19)

Republican presidential contender John McCain (news, bio, voting record), a staunch backer of the Iraq war but critic of how President Bush has waged it, said U.S. lives had been "wasted" in the four-year-old conflict. Democrats demand the Arizona senator apologize for the comment as Sen. Barack Obama (news, bio, voting record) did when the Democratic White House hopeful recently made the same observation.

In some ways I feel like the two parties act like third graders who need a time out. Come on people, get back to work.

Come on people, get back to work.

And stop apologizing for saying stuff that you mean.

The democrats are stupid. Why be so fucking childish when you can use this as an opportunity to open the flood gates. I swear to god, whoever does strategy in the DNP needs to get smacked.

Thank goodness McCain does not represent me.

He's pretty conservative for the democrat he claims to be.

And I do feel that for the sake of his excercising politics and as far as politics are concerned, objectively, that lives have been taken in vain to those who served under the pretense of a pre-emptive war before elected officials gave the "rebuilding" green light
