I can see this happening:

Step 1: George W. Bush appoints good old Mel Martinez as the Republican National Committee Chairman? Why him?
Step 2: Governor Charlie Christ gets sworn into office in '07. (Attorney General under Jeb Bush)
Step 3: Mel needs to step down a Senator because he can't be running around doing fund raising and such for the RNC whilst still maintaining Florida's best interests.
Step 4: Jeb Bush is chosen by Christ as the new Senator.
Step 5: Jeb runs for President in the 2012 or maybe 2008 Presidential Campaign with a pretty well rounded resume.
Step 6: We invade Iraq again (joke)

I'll have lived under a Bush regime for practically 20 years with the good chance of more:

- George Sr as VP under Reagan = 8 years
- Geroge Sr as President = 4 years
- George W as President = 8 years
- Jeb as President = 4 with maybe for 4 more
Total = 28

That is a whole lot of Bush! :club:

Agree with Sean2, Jeb's amazing. I interacted with him a lot during an internship I had in high school one summer. He's way more intelligent than his brother.

I actually like Jeb Bush, and some of the things he's supported. I would have preferred him to W, for sure.

Considering this country's nature to be wary of 'dynasties', Jeb will never be elected to an office higher than a congressman.

Well this route he won't have to be "elected" as a congressman, he can go straight to Senate (DO NOT PASS GO).

In the end it wont matter. Nancy Pelosi will arrange the demise of our current executive leadership and become the first lady president. Then she'll abolish the constitution and revert the US back over to a monarchy with her as Queen.

How's that for a conspiracy?
