I think they both had their good and bad points. It comes down to a "trickle down" versus not trickle down economics discussion in the end.

Hoover was really getting us out of the Depression. Really!

Regan was the best thing for the US, in that time period.

Trying a comparison of presidents when its obvious that their responsibilities, term, and state of the nation were so vastly different is definatley not an apples to apples comparison.

On the other hand, Roosevelt's mommy didn't want him to marry Eleanor, and everyone loves a rebel. Further, I prefer Episcopals over Presbyterians. Represent.
