I'm gonna edit it a little for content, too.
EDIT - Er, I can't actually rename the thread's title as to properly abbreviate/warn onlookers :-\

Can't see it making a huge amount of difference.

Which begs the question, what would the US forces do if someone took out general Casey? I too wish it was Bin Laden, but it's important to remember that Al Zarqawi only alligned himself with Bin Laden's organization in 2004; I give it a month until we have the next rising jihadist star, as these people are fighting what they consider a holy war, and the non-involvement of Hussein in the 9/11 attacks has given them exactly the fuel they need to convince many in the Middle East that the US is on an extremist expansion campaign to occupy and overpower weaker nations. Someone else will step up.
I wonder who gets the reward.

Someone else will step but comparing the the loss of general Casey is apples to oranges. Losing somone like Al Zarqawi would be more like losing Scotty Pippen from the '95 Bulls.. they'll never exactly replace him or be the same and the "fans" are prolly floored at the loss.
Now if we could just kill or capture Michael Jordan (bin laden)....

The US Armed Forces has a chain of command, so the next person under Casey would step up. And because of the infrastructure that is in place, the momentum would barely falter.
However, with Al Zak's case. There is doubtably that deep an infrastructure with his part of the movement, so the jihad'ist momentum that Zak was leading will definatly falter in the short run. And, since time is critical for the new Iraqi leadership to become better established, it makes sense that Zak's death represents critical time won and more time available to be better prepared for the next 'rising star'.

Word!!!!
My fear is Al Qaeida <spelling> will no doubt attempt to pull off some heinous act to show the world that they are still a force to be dealt with.

I find it slightly disturbing that our people took the time to frame the picture.
I noticed that too, and thought it very odd.
I probably would have gone with a darker color wood, with straighter lines. The gold color doesnt compliment his skin tone very well.

Al Zarqawi's location was given to the U.S. military by the Sunni political leadership. Not so coincidentally, the final cabinent posts for the Iraqi government, particularly its branch, were announced within 7 hours of the airstrike.
This bodes well for future Iraqi stability, and may be the turning-point in the Iraqi campaign that the U.S. has been waiting so long for.

He wouldn't have this dead problem if he had a pocket cleric and empath. That'll teach him not to MA.
