...Of all places. I'm a classical libertarian so I like to see articles like this; the telecom industry is thriving in Somalia despite no governmental regulation while the rest of Africa is bogged down in bureaucratic red tape. Imagine what these people could do if they had protection from the government, probably even more. Unfortunately as soon as a government gets established it means they'll start to meddle with them.

I am glad if the free market is allow prosperity in Africa even in minute numbers. However Africa is very different from America and a centralised structure makes a lot of sense there.
