Lewis "Scooter" Libby, told a grand jury he was "authorized by his superiors" to disclose classified information from an intelligence report to reporters, according to the special prosecutor in the CIA leak case.

Libby didn't say who his superiors were but the National Journal which first reported the Fitzgerald letter named Dick Cheney and other officials as the ones who authorized the leak.

Opinions? Could Cheney by the next one facing charges in this case?

Could be.. but mebbe his superiors are MJ-12 or Pat Robertson or perhaps Jesus... Anything is an assumption at this point.

Poor Jebus gets the blame for so many things that aren't his fault like Pat Robertson.

I don't think stating Libby's superiors is an assumption. According to wikipedia:

"Lewis "Scooter" Libby Jr. (born August 22, 1950) is the former Chief of Staff and assistant for National Security Affairs to U.S. Vice President Dick Cheney and presidential advisor"

Looks like his immediate boss is Dick Cheney with a dotted line to old Dubbya himself.

Good call Peamer. Its absurd how much mileage they are trying to get out of that one. Well all knew it happened when it happened. Obvious smoke-screen for what is going on today.

And the bullshit is a bunch of people will bend over and take it and like it.
