When I'm upset about is how both parties and the people who vote for them and the people who don't vote are continuing to perpetuate inequalities in our society. We are allowing an obscene amount of resources to be hoarded by a very few people while there are other people in the world who are homeless and can barely feed themselves. I don't think we could ever truly achieve full equality unless we were a hive mind society but we sure could do a lot better by tightening up to a point where everyone can live comfortably and the rich still get to be rich.

I am not concerned with full equality. That goes against human nature. The most productive & most contributing members of our society deserve their wealth. The bums that do nothing deserve their poverty. Full equality is what losers beg for. They want to stay at home and have free college so they can learn how to finger paint and when they get out of 7-8 years worth of college, complain they can't find a job that gives them 7 figures.. so no wonder they are all about equality of outcome! Well it turns out that all the talk of "waste, fraud, and abuse" is nothing but Republican propaganda. They have also been unforgivably disrespectful to the hard working people in our government who help us with our benefits and services. Just like the "stolen" 2020 election and that fucking ghoul Guilianni's crusade against 2 election workers its a witch hunt as a smoke screen to the real goal of covering tax cuts, contracts, and subsidies for the wealthy.

I've said it before and may will say the same. Everyone wants to get rid of waste, fraud, and abuse. But we already have checks in place to deal with that and they work as evidenced by how little actual fraud there is. Dismantling the government in a month hardly seems like the best way to go about it.



That first statement is straight republican propaganda. First you identify yourself with a tribe then suggest that other tribes are lesser than your own. You are in no position to condescend anyone. The current Trumpian zeitgeist has highjacked conservativism for its own purposes. Trump says "Make America Great Again" to lure in conservatives but he is more concerned with himself than he is with our well being or America in general. Its not democrat vs republican right now. Its Trump vs reality.

In the real world people do not aspire to get government handouts but there sure are plenty of people who need them to survive through no fault of their own. There are people who live on that edge of high prices vs ability to work who need social services to feed their kids. We all know the cost of health care in the country so if someone is unfortunate enough to have medial issues they need even more help. Do you think they are happy about that? Do you think kids who grow up poor in a bad neighborhood with family members with disabilities dream about growing up to live the lifestyle of being on food stamps?

We're the richest country on Earth. We help our own people who need help because we're good like that. It's enough to keep people from starving to death and it does not hurt us to do it. We've been doing it for many years and remain the most successful government and country on Earth.

We agree. We both want low taxes and government to leave us alone. There are a few ways to make that happen but the option being offered right now is to lessen the services the majority receives for our tax dollars so that the super wealthy get to keep their tax cuts.
