This is why you need an assault rifle..

They Japanese are trying to use tranquilizer darts on them. Umm, no. If that happened here, we'd fix the problem quick.

Assault rifles aren't legal.

Assault rifles aren't legal.
They should be legal, when there are murderous monkeys on the prowl. It's like Planet of the Apes in Japan right now!
More than 50 individuals have been attacked by a group of roaming macaque monkeys in and around the southern Japanese city of Yamaguchi in the past three weeks.
No serious injuries have been reported, but the victims were all advised to get hospital treatment, per Yuri Kageyama from the Associated Press. The monkeys have mostly targeted children and women, though officials say attacks on men and the elderly have become more frequent.
“They are so smart, and they tend to sneak up and attack from behind, often grabbing at your legs,” city official Masato Saito tells the AP. “I have never seen anything like this my entire life.”

I'm getting a playback error on your shniznits you posted, Clyde.
O.K., lemme see where can I take this.
OK: So, I've got a tiny little peashooter (as well as a tiny little .38SPEC snubby) and I was carrying it on me in my sweatpants because there were foxes that were going batshit at all the dogs in the neighborhood. I don't care to kill foxes; and my dog can, still, absolutely murdalize one, or ten of them, but I didn't want that to happen, so I was ready to do the same thing I would do if there were coyotes around -- which is fire at the ground.
It's retarded because someone will call in a shots-fired and I'm not allowed pop off a firearm in this tertiary suburban road here in the Greater New Haven area, but I wasn't going to let them get close to me and my doggo.
Animal Control has gotten a lot better the past few years, so I don't worry as much or ever pack for walks anymore. I'm thinking though what-in-the-F I would have done if one of the many black bears that are in a fairly close habitat for animals made it into the region and my dog was with me. They've gotten onto the main roads like five or six times since I've been here.
Alright, lemme get some more caffeine. O.K.

Ever since you posted this, I'm wondering what I might do when my getting-elderly Pit passes away. I don't ever think I'll ever want a dog again because of how incredible my d00d is.
I've been pondering pigs though for what happens after. I'm not sure..? Maybe.

A new dog is the best way to move on. I know that sounds callous, and you’ll always miss old ones, but it is what it is.

There will be a wonderful shelter pittie out there that needs you to save their life that will give you all their heart. Save 2 dogs lives, adopt, don't shop.

Pigs are cool, but dogs are still cooler.

You are about to come face to face with the cruel reality of pig discrimination. If you have a dog, everybody thinks you're cool. But you get a pig,...

100% this.
We moped around the house when our dog died for weeks.. and it wasn't until we received our new puppy that things got better.
