Did he or didn't he? If Trump did not clog the toilet with ripped up paper, then who did?
WASHINGTON — Former President Donald Trump denied Thursday that he had flushed documents down a toilet when he served in the White House.
"Another fake story, that I flushed papers and documents down a White House toilet, is categorically untrue and simply made up by a reporter in order to get publicity for a mostly fictitious book," Trump said in a statement.
The detail, which comes from New York Times reporter Maggie Haberman’s forthcoming book, “Confidence Man,” was reported by Axios.
Haberman tweeted, (https://twitter.com/maggieNYT/status/1491729618856038401) "Here’s some reporting from the book’s later years — White House residence staff periodically found papers had clogged a toilet, leaving staff believing Trump had flushed material he’d ripped into pieces."

Good thing it wasn't a German toilet.

In her 2018 book Unhinged: An Insider's Account of the Trump White House, Omarosa said that she came into Trump's office just after Michael Cohen left and saw Trump eating paper. Could his eating paper be related to the toilet's being clogged with paper?

It is entirely possible.

I heard Trump ate the papers, then made some scat porn with paper flecks shooting all over, then pissed on them to make sure they were destroyed. I know a guy, that knows a guy, that heard about it from another guy. Facts.

Trump made these remarks at about the same time of the aforementioned toilet problems. As you can see and hear, he was very concerned about toilets not flushing everything they were supposed to flush.

In the tweet below, a Bloomberg reporter says that she was told at the time of the incidents that Trump's toilet was clogged with torn up papers.

Are you thinking what I'm thinking? It's pretty obvious what happened, isn't it?
Trump tried to flush documents down the toilet, but it clogged. They couldn't call the normal White House Plumber, because the contents of the clog were classified. The Secret Service had to find a plumber with top secret security clearance. As you can imagine, by this point a lot of people knew about Trump's bathroom problem. To save face, Trump had to blame it on deficient toilet design. Trump got the EPA to make low-flush toilets public enemy number one and started talking about it in his public remarks. In Trump's mind, it was problem solved. Everybody who knew about his clogged toilet would realize it wasn't his fault.
Remember sharpiegate? The lesson is that if you have a delicate or potentially embarrassing problem, make a big deal about a related issue in public and blame it on somebody else.
