So just compared my electric and heating bills from this year compared to last year and my electricity rates are 12% higher this year and heating rates are 23% higher. In total I figure I'm gonna pay almost 250 dollars more this year for my electricity and gas compared to last year. The best part is that from the years 2016-2020 my electricity rates went up a whopping 3% in total, and Biden somehow managed to quadruple that number in just one year! How does he do it?

Thanks, Biden! And thanks, Seran, for your fucking vote that is directly affecting my bank account. I know I know, Alfster, I just have to get a second job to afford to live in Biden's America.

Maybe Seran will come along and lecture us all in a couple of months because "Biden" managed to get the prices of heating down a whole 1%!

As long as Orange man isn't in office!

lol

The real TDS is hating Trump so much that you just brush off paying thousands of dollars more a year for the exact same shit you bought last year simply because Trump is no longer president.

Just a few years ago leftists such as yourself were taking over entire city blocks because rich people were rich and weren't sharing their wealth with you, now you happily pay thousands more dollars a year for the same shit and don't say a peep about it.

When are you going to pay reparations to people for your vote that gave us Biden? Oh right, you've already spoken on this subject and you told people to suck it up and get a second job if they can't afford to live in Biden's America. That's a compassionate Democrat for ya.

I agree.

It happened in 2016... time to let it go.

So are you just being purposefully obtuse again, or are you one of those REALLY special types that thinks Trump won in 2020 and JFK is coming back to life?

Mine is up about 12% from this time last year.

It would be fantastic if we could socialize this utility. Shouldn't electricity be a human right? Then the government could negotiate a lower MUCH lower rate than what we pay with the energy providers. Or, even better, we could create a great big government project to build stuff that would GENERATE electricity, like solar and wind farms. Some type of green...new...thing, I'll have to workshop the name a bit.

FDR was a great man. I wish Biden would look to him for the needed inspiration.

Mine isn't really any different.

I also never turn on the heater unless it gets very, very cold because this house doesn't raise bitches.

You comparing the rates or bill amount? The rate difference is very noticeable where I am.

The temperature gets into negative numbers where I am. I can’t really not turn on the heat because if nothing else the pipes in my house would quickly freeze.

I only care about the bill amount.
