"Democratic Pennsylvania State Rep. Proposes Requiring Vasectomies at Age 40"
"I will be introducing a bill inspired by @RepKellyCassidy that requires all inseminators to undergo #vasectomies within 6 weeks of having their third child or 40th birthday, whichever comes first."
Forced sterilization... which party is the Authoritarian one? They are fucking Communists looking to dictate every aspect of your life... this is not a fucking joke, and people need to wake the fuck up.
This is your modern day Democrat Party... they keep pushing this insane shit, they will eventually get pushback that they don't want.

…
The proposal is satire, according to Rabb, and is just meant to spark a conversation.
"It's levity on a very serious issue, but the bottom line is I want to create a conversation about how easily we accept government intervening into the health decisions of women, which should be between them and their family, and then saying what would it feel like if men were being regulated," he said.
You should probably read the entire article first… his tweet of “6 weeks” should have been a dead give away.

He actually introduced it... perhaps someone... for "satire" should propose sterilizing women, instead of just providing birth control... I mean... it's just "satire" right?
Get the fuck outa here... "satire"...
So an elected official thinks it's just funny? It's just to "spark debate"? Please... if you don't think these jackasses won't try to force something like this, just like the other legislation that was introduced so that women can sue men if they get pregnant is a "joke" or "satire"... then you're just a fucking idiot.
Do you even pay attention? What they say, and what they do, are two different things... stop falling for the words coming out of their mouth.

"Compulsory sterilization, also known as forced or coerced sterilization, is a government-mandated program to sterilize a specific group of people. Compulsory sterilization removes a person's capacity to reproduce, usually through surgical procedures. Several countries implemented sterilization programs in the early 20th century.[1] Although such programs have been made illegal in most countries of the world, instances of forced or coerced sterilizations persist. Rationalizations for compulsory sterilization have included population control, gender discrimination, limiting the spread of HIV,[2] "gender-normalizing" surgeries for intersex people, and ethnic genocide. In some countries, transgender individuals are required to undergo sterilization before gaining legal recognition of their gender, a practice that the United Nations Special Rapporteur on torture and other cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment has described as a violation of the Yogyakarta Principles.[3]"

"With the rise of prenatal screening tests across Europe and the United States, the number of babies born with Down syndrome has significantly decreased, but few countries have come as close to eradicating Down syndrome births as Iceland. Since prenatal screening tests were introduced in Iceland in the early 2000s, the vast majority of women -- close to 100 percent -- who received a positive test for Down syndrome terminated their pregnancy."

You all will be the idiots agreeing with the Government when they actually give some lame excuse for it... "like yea man, that makes total sense!"... Look, I understand that.. and on the surface you're 100% correct... BUT, this is how things occur.
Changing societies, human behaviors, social acceptance of previously insane things requires those with influence, power, or position of authority to set the conditions for such change to occur.
It's not that it was "satire"... it's that an elected official submitted an actual document... think about the level of audacity that goes into it. It's not like he went to a podium and was just spouting off about it, he actually did the paperwork.
I get it "sounds insane". I get it's supposed to be "satire". But it sets the conditions. You have to think long term on things like this.
Did you ever think that in your lifetime (well at least the last 40 years), that institutions in America would promote and actually IMPLEMENT segregation? 10 years ago I'd have said you're crazy, there is no way that would ever happen again in America... but what's going on currently?
Did you ever think that peoples basic freedoms and movement would be long-term inhibited by the Government of America? 10 years ago I'd have said you're crazy, there is no way that would ever happen in America... but what's going on currently?
See how it works, or choose not to see. If that elected official thought enough of the idea to actually do the paperwork on it, you can bet money that discussions in certain circles have been had on how to implement it. The problem is how do you get normally rational people to go along with it.
That's why I mock people who say it's "crazy" or "could never happen"... this wasn't a conversation point at a debate... this was actual effort and thought put into filing documents by an elected official... there is something there if you really take a look at it.

You previously mentioned China and their one child policy… like a communist oppressive country decision to do population control has anything to do with America and it’s internal policies?

It's cool though... we should just test every fetus and kill it if there's anything the parent doesn't like. Actually we should just kill every kid past the age of 10 that doesn't meet certain metrics. Not like they'd make anything of themselves. They'd just be a drag to society. I understand you don't like it but it's the parents who will have to live with those consequences not you. Not everyone is able to handle the massive stress these illnesses will cause their life.
So yes, if the fetus has an illness that will affect them in the future, the parent should have every right to terminate. Honestly I don't even know what you're trying to argue about, you've said before that you'd be ok with 4 month abortions (and thats not even for an illness). Just say in plain english what you are afraid of happening.

It's very simple...
The abortion thing I've said I'm personally against, but I can see a compromise of no abortions past 5 months... as that has been the earliest born fetus that has survived. I don't like it, but it's not changing... so the best can hope for is a "reasonable" compromise. Situations of the mothers health, rape, and incest are separate issues entirely and I personally have no issue with situations like that.
As for the pre-testing genetically... again personally I think it shouldn't happen, because it will lead to people customizing children and aborting them for random reasons. The examples provided are to show, that sometimes those that "society" deems unfit to live, are actual people who can live fulfilling and important lives. I don't know what will become of someone, you don't, no one does... but to make the decision and terminate them before that potential is allowed to be realized is an extremely slippery slope.
I might be using severe examples and terms to make a point, but that doesn't negate the point. Let's try this... you tell me...
What do you find "acceptable" with regards to a parent aborting a baby based on genetic markers? Only diseases? Disabilities? Deformities? or.... eye color? hair color? skin color? Where does it end?
A World War was fought over ideas such as this, because people and society recognized it's hideousness... the depravity that we as a people are capable of... so where would you draw the line? What's right? What's wrong?
You tell me.

I have no issue with a mother wanting to abort a child that has a serious illness.

Same question I posed to Drauz-
What do you find "acceptable" with regards to a parent aborting a baby based on genetic markers? Only diseases? Disabilities? Deformities? or.... eye color? hair color? skin color? Where does it end?
You tell me what you're cool with a parent killing a kid over...
Sounds like you are okay returning to more barbaric times...
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Infanticide#:~:text=Infanticide%20continued%20to%2 0be%20common,Native%20Americans%2C%20and%20Native% 20Alaskans.
"Infanticide (or infant homicide) is the intentional killing of infants or offspring. Now mostly illegal (apart from some countries[where?]), infanticide was a widespread practice throughout human history that was mainly used to dispose of unwanted children."
I mean this country is already going back and implementing segregation under the auspice of "safe spaces"... why not bring back infanticide under the auspice of "parent choice"... right?

Eye color, hair color, or skin color, aren’t serious illnesses. You should definitely try stop going to the extreme.
You can just look up what a serious illness is, and let me know when you find hair color.

As a side note.. and I mean this sincerely, as I don't think you really thought through your response... you just wanted to talk some trash, which I can get and respect..
But, before you say such... you might want to consider what you're advocating for, and previous ideologies that advocated for it also...
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Child_euthanasia_in_Nazi_Germany
"Child Euthanasia (German: Kinder-Euthanasie) was the name given to the organised killing of severely mentally and physically handicapped children and young people up to 16 years old during the Nazi era in over 30 so-called special children's wards. At least 5,000 children were victims of the programme, which was a precursor to the subsequent murder of children in the concentration camps."
They used the same reasons you're advocating... so you agree with them?
Again, I don't think you really meant it... you were trying to be edgy... but such flippant comments (even if on a 30 year old text based game forum) without context or contemplation are indicators of society... and what eventually leads to such atrocities.
Just something to think about.

You really should think more. Trying to give you some slack and hope you realize what you're advocating for leads to... but maybe I'm wrong to think you can comprehend it. /shrug
Might want to read through the link I provided, and how it all started as "mercy killings". How it started and was sold as the "right thing for the child".
If you don't think it can happen again... well there's not much more I can say.

What something can lead to, can be used for EVERY situation, you do realize that right? Using that as your basis for your argument is funny.

And your game is easily flipped. Well of course things can lead to absolutely horrible outcomes, they can also lead to wonderful outcomes. For example, because of high abortions of children with autism, doctors decide to research more into autism to stop this from happening and that leads to doctors discovering a cure for autism!
See it works both ways.

What world do you live in? You seriously just talk shit to talk shit? At least make sure it's somewhat reasonable shit.... Autism is your example? ROFL... yea how's that working out for you with the advancement of medicine?

I'll give you a tip... not well...
You seriously need to think before you open that mouth... way to much garbage falls out. By your logic, we should be killing 1 in 54 kids at this point from autism alone...
Man... you really are something.

Your first link deals with Taiwan.
Your second link deals with Israel.
Your third link deals with Europe.
You previously mentioned China and their one child policy… like a communist oppressive country decision to do population control has anything to do with America and it’s internal policies?
What exactly does any of that have to do with the states, or is your argument that if it can happen there, it can happen here?
Nope. He's just angry and stupid, so now we get to hear every weak "slippery slope" argument in his lame arsenal. Carry on, Shats!

I’m just waiting for him to tell us how any of it deals with the states other than “If it happened there, it could happen here!”
