We do actually. The gerrymandering of Southern states was very effective and recently upheld in the supreme court, so it is in fact oppressive to the majority that the minority is doing everything they can to silence our votes.

Of the southern states that voted a majority for Trump in 2020, I suspect most were flawed electoral results skewed by well documented Republican efforts. No, I'm not providing a link. You can use search engines like the rest of us.
