View Full Version : Advice for Trump Supporters on Losing the Election
We are seeing the politics in the US swing back the other way after the election in 2016. I'm seeing threads pop up about the new president which is exactly what happened back in 2016. I, like many others (65,853,514 to be exact, almost 3,000,000 more than those who voted for the winner), feel the need, no, duty to dispense helpful advice to our fellow Americans who lost this time around (by over 10,000,000 votes this time) to help them cope during this difficult transition. I'm calling on others to help as well by giving their best pointers on how to deal with a crushing loss. We've been there. We can help.
First, understand that this is how democracy works. Majority rule is the only system that allows everyone to have a say in the direction of our society. No matter who wins or loses you have to understand that we all still have to participate in society together to prosper.
You can go on about your daily life like normal and nothing drastic will change. Government works in the background while we carry on with our lives. Let go of the political spectacle for a while. You'll be happier.

No. We don't want National Socialism, Democrats are already exterminating Brown people at an alarming rate.

I'm leaving the house now.. so if someone can pick a post of Backlash circa Nov 2016 and copy/paste it here, that would be awesome.
Backlash, please never change. Continue to be the hypocritical retard we've always known you to be.

Which example of participating in society should Trump voters follow, based on Clinton voters in 2016?
Should we follow the example of the ones who screamed nOt My pReSiDeNt!!!!!!1111!!oneoneone!!!! for 4 straight years?
Should we follow the example of all the people who threatened to flee to Canada, but sadly never did?
Should we follow the example of the people who rioted for months in a row, resulting in deaths, very significant property damage, and probably did a great job spreading COVID around?
Should we follow the example of the ones who claimed PTSD from losing the election?
Should we follow the example of the people who broke down in tears and spent days locked in their rooms at college (because only college students getting college paid for by mommy and daddy have that luxury)?

What you describe here, criminals from all sides involved in disrupting peaceful protests over civil rights, has nothing to do with Clinton losing.
Trump won in 2016. He had four years. Thats quite an accomplishment. Now its time to move on.

Mostly peaceful protests, in the words of CNN....
Well done, parroting leftist propaganda. I expect nothing else from you.

No, now it's time to act like Democrats. The time for holding hands ended when Democrats rioted in DC in Jan. 2017.

Not at all. I'm going to continue on being a productive member of society, go to work every day, provide for my family, donate money to worthy causes, and just keep on living.
I was calling out the absolute hypocrisy of back asking for everyone to participate in society together, when he and his fellow leftist have spent the last four years trying to bring down society all because of Orange Man Bad.

Only Democrats get to riot, commit arson, assault political opponents and murder cops.
When you elect war criminals that want to bomb brown people to save Medicade, against the will of the people. It's time to hang people.

Sorry, but thats the truth. The real message of accountability for the deaths of unarmed people for actions that were no where near punishable by death got drowned out. A few bad apples from all sides remember. There were arrests of white supremacist instigators during that time. One even shot a deputy to death.

Being a little dramatic aren't you? There was a peaceful transfer of power to Trump. Trump has been president and life has gone on. Criticizing the president is not trying to bring down society. That sounds more like you want a king than an elected president.

I'm a lying communist that has failed at life. My only option is to lie about everything I stand for because everyone should have to live like the failure I am, it's only fare. I have nothing to lose so I don't give a fuck if you lose everything so I no longer have to live with my jealousy of those that have been more successful in life than I.
Tell us more about installing National Socialism in the US.
Sure, lil buddy, sure.
Nobody likes anarchists. They scare the shit out of republicans and drown out the democrats.
Except for Johnny Rotten. He's ok.

Nearly all Clinton voters did the same.
They acknowledged Clinton lost the election and moved on.
I think you're alluding to the Democrats focusing on Russian involvement in the 2016 election and perhaps comparing that to Trump's failure (and the complicity of those with TDS who are OK with his failure) to fully embrace a peaceful transition of power.
In both cases Democrats were protecting the fundamental institution of our democracy and I'm not sure they should be shamed for that by calling it "bringing down society."

Johnny Rotten is actually pretty far right, fyi.

Yeah. He's pretty far something alright. Not someone I would vote for in a political capacity.
